In a myriad of delivery outlets, each slightly different in its own unique way. World in a box delivers in and around DLF Phase 4 and offer cuisines from around the world – sandwiches, pastas, salads, juices, biryanis and delish desserts.
Teriyaki chicken salad – marinated grilled chicken breast, diced and tossed with red cabbage, broccoli, onions and bell pepper in a sweet and sticky honey balsamic sauce. The salad is perfectly balanced, light and great teamed with the mozzarella, pesto, tomato and cheese toastie.
Tzatziki chicken sandwich – a fresh bread with herbed chicken chunks tossed in fresh tzatziki lined with lettuce, caramelised onions and tomatoes. The flavors of tzatziki were quite refreshing but it lacked a balancing crunch to break the creamy monotony besides the limpy monotony. The caramelized onions offer a slight respite but there sure is a need of more condiments.
Laas maas mutton biryani – a fusion of Rajasthani flavors into a traditional Awadhi biryani – flavorsome rice coloured gorgeously with turmeric and saffron topped with caramelized brown onions, chunks of garlic and cashews with hot meat, and by hot, I mean really, really, harrisa chilly and bhoot jholakia hot. The mutton was amazingly done but the heat for a tad difficult to get past for me.
Old Monk Mousse – a delish, layered chocolate dessert infused with the Indian’s fav poison – old monk rum. The moist chocolate cake and layered with delectable cream is a perfect sweet note dessert.
Wash your meal down with one of their power packed drinks – I tried their orange basil lemonade and it was the perfect citrus summer drink.
World in a box for across the globe delicacies and some very interesting fusions and dessert jars.
