Baani Square is loaded with cosy cafes and great quick bites places and Sandburg Shakes is the place to be if you want to grab some burgers and shakes. A tiny cafe with comfortable leather couches and food-lover graffiti.
We started with some hearty shakes – a Choco-Haze-Nut and a Choco Butterscotch shake. Thick, creamy, flavorsome shakes topped with chocolate shaving and butterscotch respectively. They were a tad too sweet for my palate.
Bruschettas – Garlic bread with feta cheese and finely chopped onion, tomatoes and mix herbs. The bruschettas were decent, the garlic flavor needed to be a bit more profound and the amount of feta cheese, just a little bit more.
Classic Pollo Roller – a grilled soft tortilla wrap with grilled crispy chicken, chipotle sauce, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The chicken was very nicely done but the roll could have used a little more dressing.
And finally, the Tropical Pollo burger – a crispy sesame seed topped bun with lettuce, smoked pineapple, onions, bacon and a crispy chicken patty served with ketchup and mustard mayo. The burger was the star of our meal – the juicy chicken patty boded well with crispy bacon and the sweet grilled pineapple. The thick juicy fried made for the perfect accompaniment.
