My first encounter with pesto sauce was in an ill-concocted pasta, where the pesto was mixed with some much cheese that it lost all freshness and I ended up shying away from it for years to come. Recently, I came across the freshest, freshest pesto sauces and finally motivated me to whip one up. Best part, this quick pesto sauce gets done under 10 minutes!

Ingredients –
- Spinach – 400g
- Fresh basil leaves – 200g
- Garlic cloves – 5 to 6
- Walnuts – 3 to 4
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt – to taste
Method –
- Wash and clean spinach and basil leaves thoroughly.
- Add everything together in a blender and blend together until smooth or coarse, whichever way you prefer.
I will soon try a spinach one tossed with some pasta, stay tuned 🙂
Happy Chomping!
