Prankster has been creating buzz ever since its launch and even though school themed nostalgia has become rather common now, Prankster holds its charm intact. A super chilled out ambiance, with pops of nostalgia in every nook and corner, Chemistry lab set up to brewup romance, libraries, notice boards, tables fit with desk drawers and a general sense of coolness.
We visited when Sector 29 was still a booze free zone and were surprised to find out Prankster still operative. After our meal we were certain that it is so much more than beer. We started off with Murgh tikka mirza Hasnu – served on a fuming grill, an intoxicating coal smell, well marinated chicken tikka packing a bunch of flavours.
Garden fresh vegetables Moroccan pizza – a gorgeous pie with buttery, flaky base, fresh garden vegetables and oodles of delectable cheese. A Moroccan style pie, this is one of the most unusual and absolutely delish.
Murgh Palang tod – with Naughty Side effects. Succulent chicken pieces cooked with whole spices and chicken stew with a lacy gravy and a tantalizing aroma. Served with khamiri roti which could have been softer, the palang tod chicken steals the show and is so very toothsome.
Prankster for kickass ambiance, food to kill for and a striking a chord of nostalgia with their school themes.
