Another Fine Day – Cafe and Reading Room is a stunningly cute cafe practically in the middle of a corporate jungle and a perfect getaway from the worldly pretenses. Another Fine Day is located at Golf Course Road and doubles as a Reading Room and you could also binge on some old school board games. Beautiful white brick walls, pretty frames, a bright open kitchen and a cupboard full of the best books.
We started with their classic Iced coffee – served in a classic milk bottle, the coffee was a little too icy and a little less coffee.
Non veg platter – chicken and olive stick, chicken souvlaki, lamb chelo, fried calamari, al-fataoush, tzatziki, hummus and pita bread. Soft, warm pita bread, pair it with the freshly ground hummus or tzatziki. The meat was incredibly tender, super succulent, and toothsome.
Pasta arabiatta vegetarian – Penne done al dente tossed with a garlicky tomato sauce topped with parmesan shavings. The sauce was a tad spicy and as classic as it should have been, it was really quite average.
Grilled chicken steak – chicken steak stuffed with cheese and chicken mince served with brown mushroom sauce and potato wedges. Cheese and minced chicken stuffed in a pound chicken steak which oozes out with a prick of the knife. The brown mushroom sauce was amazing and alluring.
Another fine day is a must visit to unwind at the end of the day, so pick up a book or pick up a game, and enjoy it with your favourite dishes.
