Chicken Krapow or Pad Krapow Gai is a Thai minced chicken with Holy basil and a few classic Thai ingredients. In Thai, Pad means “stir-fried”, Krapow means “holy basil” and Gai means “chicken”. So literally, the dish translates to stir-fried basil chicken. And it is actually that easy to make!
Unlike many other Thai recipes especially curries which require a long list of ingredients and cook time, this dish comes together in 15 minutes flat. And you don’t need to add a lot of effort either – just gather all the ingredients and make sure you get the ratios right. Since this is a dry stir-fry, the addition of a sunny side up only elevates the whole thing.
