Quick Pesto Sauce

My first encounter with pesto sauce was in an ill-concocted pasta, where the pesto was mixed with some much cheese that it lost all freshness and I ended up shying away from it for years to come. Recently, I came across the freshest, freshest pesto sauces and finally motivated me to whip one up. Best part, it gets done under 10 minutes!

Ingredients –

  • Spinach – 400g
  • Fresh basil leaves – 200g
  • Garlic cloves – 5 to 6
  • Walnuts – 3 to 4
  • Olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – to taste

Method –

  • Wash and clean spinach and basil leaves thoroughly.
  • Add everything together in a blender and blend together until smooth or coarse, whichever way you prefer.

Use it as a spread or simple toast and dip
