Shout: The new Cocktail bar by Twist

Twist in Cyber Hub has opened an Indian tapas & cocktail bar Shout, drawing inspiration from the fact that beer are certain drinks are paired wonderfully with Indian starters, shout is aiming to do just that. Twist remains as the Asian counterpart with fine wines and impeccable food.
A good collection of Tandoori starters as well as main has been incorporated to the menu along with some really mean cocktails, this is after the second visit I am writing this post and I can see the quality improving each day.

We started off with the classic, Old Fashioned, strong presented beautifully but lacking that hint of sweetness, a little tweak after calling the bartender is what it needed. We also ordered the Naanza which is something really special here, while typical naanza is pizza and naan combined together, this is a stuffed naan with toppings like pizza, We had the Pepperoni naanza which was absolutely delicious.

Along with that we had two other drinks, The Bombay Masala and one with Cucumber & Gin, which was rather a summerish drink served in the month of November. Lots of crushed ice and fresh cucumber flavors not something to go in this chilly weather but something that can be well accompanied with spicy Indian starters.
The Bombay Masala was a bourbon based drink with infused spices, this was a really good innovation in terms of cocktails as whisky is rarely infused with spice. A must try!

More classics were also tried, Mimosa and Red Wine Sangria, and trust me when I say this nobody can beat their sangria, they use good wines they are potent as well as fruity so basically very well balanced!

We also had Orchid Mushrooms for starters, mushrooms stuffed with soya and finely cut vegetables. They were fried and thus resembled like manchurian balls with a curry leaf on top.

Coming to the other cocktails, Pineapple and White Rum was on the sweeter side of cocktails and thus wasn’t much appreciated by me.
Anyhow after having a boozy evening of cocktails, we ended our meal with trio of crème brulee and ice cream brownie, both lip-smacking preparations.
So Shout while may not be a prime destination of cocktail, they are doing a good job behind the bar and especially with the sangrias!
