Rajouri Garden is ever sprawling with new restaurants and Jazbaa fits the bill just right. Spread over three floors, Jazbaa has a lounge and a fine dine restaurant. Their menu ranges from Indian, Italian to also a live dimsum and sushi bar. The fine couches, marble top tables, mirrors and a plush bar. Their North Indian selection coupled with the vibrant ambiance.
We started with a refreshing Lemon mint Iced Tea and a Berrilicious mocktail.
We started with one of the most interesting things on the menu, Geela Parantha – chicken keema topped over a laccha parantha. A laccha parantha topped with flavorsome chicken keema. The parantha should have been so much more buttery and flaky but it makes for a mean bite. Rampuri seekh kebab – minced mutton, with hints of rosewater and grilled to perfection. The seekh kebabs are so tantalizing, dunk in some chutney and these kebabs are so perfect. Exotica vegetarian pizza – a thin crust, loads of cheese, fresh bell pepper, olives and mushrooms. The pizza base could have used more freshness and a little less baked. The toppings did make up for it a bit.
For the mains, we gorged on Mutton Rara, Lehsuni mushroom masala, laccha parantha and pudina parantha. A thick mutton gravy with keema, succulent, slow cooked mutton pieces and so many masalas make this mutton dish a winner. The lehsuni mushroom masala is all you need this winter. The slight creamy thick gravy, garlic and ginger juliennes. Teamed with flaky paranthas, the meal is so, so good.
Jazbaa, for an amazing meaty affair – their Rampuri seekh kebab is amazing and the curries are perfectly balanced.
