Gurgaon’s first 24×7 Cafe is here – ATC or All Time Cafe is located at Golf Course road and emits major wanderlust and hippie vibes with psychedelic graffiti, laid back couches and a terrace top shack where you can sit for a bit, chill after a late day at work and come back for some comfort food. They also have a range of board games, a pool table and they plan on adding a Play station and X Box soon. Operating as a 24×7 cafe, they have a bunch of comfort food, shakes, mocktails and also corporate lunch buffet options.
The shakes are decent – a little too milky and didn’t pack enough flavour, but tried their virgin mojito next and it was spot on and very refreshing.
We started with vegetarian munchurian – a classic prep with finely diced bell pepper and onions, tossed in soy and perfectly made munchurian balls. Just the right amount of cornflour made it just enough crunchy and made for a great bite.
Cheesy mushrooms – this is not on the menu just yet but the chef makes some pretty great battered mushrooms topped with cheese. Be sure to dip them in some chilly sauce or mint chutney to make them more flavorsome.
Pan fried chilly fish – the fish too was a good enough whip up – a more close to home desi version tossed with bell pepper, onions and spicy sticky sauce. The fish has a pretty thick crunchy coating before you get to the meaty part.
Coming to the best comfort food of all times – butter chicken dowsed heavily with butter and cream and fresh buttered laccha paranthas, fresh salad and mint chutney. The creamy, slightly sweet butter chicken gravy with succulent pieces of chicken. The parantha bodes well with it with pretty well with the curry.
We finished with fried ice cream which wasn’t all that good and needed to be a little more crispy on the outside.
So, head out to this super cool cafe for long, unending conversation, post late work nights and comfort food, and we swear by their butter chicken.
