Kofuku – Greetings from the Cherry Blossom company

Kofuku is the newbie on the block with an authentic Japanese experience. Cherry Blossoms welcome you with a bunch of pretty pinks, splendid Japanese paintings and the Izakaya style of dining – where you actually sit down and have a super casual meal with a great conversation. The dining area is an in-genius design where you sit down for a casual conversation and have a buzz for calling your server, bill and anything else you might need.

We started with some fresh sushi platter – the sushi is fresh served with wasabi, gari and soy that you can pour into the cutest little dish. Tried their avocado tempura, fresh maki and sashimi and it was an excellent bunch of roll ups.

Yaki Shitake – grilled shitake mushroom skewered with garlic sweet and a sweet, sticky soy sauce. The mushrooms make for a perfect appetizer and are yummy to bits.

Spicy chicken dimsums – sui mai chicken dimsums served with an array of sauces – thin skinned and stuffed with super fresh spicy chicken. The sauces go along with perfection. The dimsums are a tad too big to eat whole, so you might need to break into it.

Balinese Curry – the yellow spicy prawn curry – fresh prawns, tofu and greens, the yellow curry is flavorsome and spiked with coconut curry. Team it with sticky rice and the Balinese curry makes for a perfect and refreshing option.

They also have a selection of refreshing mocktails –

A strong gari spiked mocktail

An infusion of mango, milk and refreshing mint leaves

Wind up your meal with some fresh Mochi ice cream – tried vanilla and mango flavours. The layer of sticky rice covering the ice cream scoop is as good as ever and the mango one feels just like summer in your mouth.
