Spoilt for choice with oh so many delivery modules? Most recently devoured the Indian favs by Leaping Caravan. They are known for their classic Indian delicacies and also take a leaf from Pakistani and Awadhi cuisines.
Tried their Purani Dilli ka Nawaabi Khana and it was pretty darn good.
Puraani Dilli ka Nawaabi Khana – chicken biryani, mutton nihari, afghani chicken tikka, dal makhni, boondi raita, roomali roti, laccha parantha, pickle, onions, chutney and halwa. The chicken biryani is whipped like one of the street favourites with saffron and flavoured rice. The chicken however was rather dry and best avoided. The mutton nihari however made up for the tardy chicken – thick flavoursome curry and succulent boneless pieces of meat. The dal makhni too was creamy and quite toothsome. Paired alternate bites with the buttery parantha and roomali roti. Finish the hearty meal on a sweet note with halwa which was a very homely and slightly sweet prep.
