Gear up for summers with Chaayos

Over the years Chaayos has brought something Indians absolutely adore into limelight and made it much more mainstream – their tea. From their kadak cha to the Sab kuch chai and amazing fusion munchies to go along with (ergo thepla tacos, maggi sandwich and butter chicken wrap), Chaayos is all over Delhi and Gurgaon.
And it doesn’t stop there, Chaayos keeps giving us reasons to return to try newbies. They have recently launched their Summer Menu and it’s spectacular.
We visited them at Golf Course Road and their first ever 24-hours cafe. This Chaayos outlet is wanderlusted by travel stories, metro lines and toy cars constructing their iconic ‘C’.

Chaayos has launched three new iced tea versions – Kala khatta, aam panna and pineapple-strawberry. Refreshing to the core, all three versions have offbeat flavors that prove to be real thirst quenchers. The Kala khatta iced tea was my personal favourite which takes you back to all the summer vacation and gola days.

Kala Chana Chaat – crunchy kala chana tossed with diced onions and tomatoes and fresh mexican salsa with a dash of lime juice giving the familiar flavors a fusion twist.

Palak Patta Crispies – Besan coated spinach leaves made to crispies in an air-fryer to add the healthy zing, effortlessly sprinkled with imly ki chutney, onions and crunchy sev. A much more lasting and healthy version.

Kulhad Matar Kulcha – this dish took me back to college lunch days but healthier. Soft kulchas slightly buttered and topped with oregano served with matra in a kulhad. The matra are slightly runny but very toothsome. Add a squirt of lemon juice and you are summer ready.

For desserts try their blueberry-lemon and fruit factory. The dry cakes are the perfect end to your meal and baked to a spongy yumminess.
