Johnny goes unlimited!

Johnny Rockets has created a legacy by offering by far the best burgers in town. Now it has come up with another exciting value for money meal deal, Johnny Unlimited. ALL YOU CAN EAT @499 with a six course meal burgers, pre-appetizers, appetizers, shakes, salads and dessert.

We visited the Vasant Kunj outlet to try out this elaborate feast crafted for all. Johnny Rockets based like an American Diner, quirky colors, peppy music and really upbeat stuff actually cheers you up as soon as you enter. Grab a corner table with the Jukeboxes that enable you to select and change the music in real time and you are set. So, this format is really different, you pick up a card on you table. Fill out your preferences of shakes and burgers. People who have visited this outlet before beware, the size of burgers and shakes is drastically reduced to support the Unlimited format.

We started with a Tenderloin Houston in a whole wheat bun, the options of bun also include brioche which is a super quality potato bun and is recommended. Houston is a classic burger, soft bun with a prominent flavor of chipotle ranch sauce and filling of jalapenos, lettuce and tomatoes with a really juicy tenderloin patty. While the quality of patty was impeccable, the overall dressing and layering of this burger was slightly disappointing.

We paired oreo cookie with it which was extra-ordinary with crushed bits of oreo mixed evenly throughout the shake, even though it wasn’t served in the huge glass like before the quality of shake is amazing. Even the Mocha shake was ambrosial.

The Appetizers included Sausages, Rocket Wings, Chicken Poprocks, Onion Rings, Fries, Cheese Fries & Masala Tots. The appetizers while looking appealing didn’t taste anything special, the only thing we loved were the Cheese Fries, Onion Rings & the Sausages. The Poprocks were quite a disappointment as the chicken was very dry in both the batches that came.

Next burger was the Chicken Rocket burger with Swiss Cheese, The Rocket Burger is famous for its special sauce which felt like spiced mayonnaise, a little spicy but delectable.

The last up was the Original, this one was literally the tallest burger of all, the shredded lettuce added a height to the entire burger, this made it everything slip out of it because even the buns aren’t big enough to prevent it.

Final Verdict, if they have reduced the size of the burgers to enable the guest to try out more variety, they have taken a tough call, Johnny Rockets is and always will be famous for its huge burgers & humongous shakes. Do try out every shake they have, they are worth it & the Brioche bun with all your burgers.
