Cafe Delhi Heights beyond Juicy Lucy

Cafe Delhi Heights is expanding like wild-fire, all set to open their latest outlets at Connaught Place and Pacific Mall, we decided to check out CDH beyond Juicy Lucy. Known for their gigantic meaty cheese filled burgers and a general Dilliwala vibe, CDH at Cross Point Mall is just as magnificent as the others. White brick walls, stained glass lamps transporting you to Old Delhi and at the same time anchoring you to a sense of fusion.

We started with Nachos Grande, oreo cookie shake and chocos brownie shake. The nachos were decent enough. Tortilla chips, beans, cheese and fresh salsa – the nachos lacked the pop of zest and sour cream. The shakes on the other hand were very satiating. The oreo cookie shake a little mainstream but the chocos brownie shake was intriguing.

Trio pepper pizza – a thin crust pizza loaded with cheese, bell pepper and masala onions. The pizza as always was appetizing – the crunchy masala onions adding a fun fusion touch to the pie.

We rounded up our meal with the house favorite penne a la vodka – a creamy mix sauce spiked with vodka sprinkled over with parmesan and a fresh multi-grain bread. Penne done al dente, tossed in a creamy sauce and savory diced chicken. The balance between the tomato and cream was slightly off-setting making the pasta on the whole a tad bland but I somehow loved it anyway.
