Have as many pangs for Asian food as I do? Asian Haus should clearly be your next choice. With innumerable Chinjabi outlets delivering and dining out all over the town, Asian Haus brings to you real East Asian zests delivered piping hot and enormous portions. They have also recently launched a Chef@Home experience where an expert comes and whips up delectable Asian for you in the comfort of your homes. Oh and they deliver late into the night, so say goodbye to all your midnight hunger woes.
Their extensive menu takes you through soups, salads, amazing, and I mean really amazing dimsums and noodle bowls. Packed in huge corrugated boxes, the meal is served with chopsticks with the motto – Chopsticks for Players, Forks for Cheaters – couldn’t agree more with their cheekiness. 😀
Starting with chicken glass noodle salad – Chinese vermiceli noodles on a bed of lettuce with grilled chicken pieces served with a sweet chilli dressing. The slightly sweet flavors intermingling with the fine glass noodles made for a great salad.
Murtabak – a Singapore street specialty – a fluffy roti stuffed with flavorsome minced lamb and served with a sweet, cool dip dowsed with coconut milk. Slightly toasted and chopped up, dip the murtabak in the tantalizing coconut dip.
Chicken scallion dumplings – this was by far the fanciest dumpling packaging I have ever come across – translucent, slightly sticky skin stuffed with minced chicken. Team it up with the burnt garlic dip and oh, heaven!
Cantonese noodles – move past hakka noodles and embrace the amazing range of pan-fried and Hawker noodles at Asian Haus. Flat noodles tossed in soy sauce with a egg threaded sauce with diced chicken bits and poached egg topped with crispy fried noodles. The slight sweet and crunch to these flat noodles are what made them a perfect wholesome meal.
So go ahead and relish the true Asian flavors – don’t forget to hog on their dimsums and Cantonese noodles.
