Gurgaon’s very own – CyberHub Social

Gurgaon finally gets its very own Social – CyberHub Social debuted about a month back and has been trending ever since thanks to their amazing concept and interiors. Designed like a chawl – spread over a walloping space – the place is all things pretty with a cacreful play of various elements. From actual rooms to the sprawling outside area to the common area donned beautifully with lights. Carrom boards doubling up as table-tops and the train compartment stood out the most for me.

We started with DIY Prawn Chettinad, Chicken baida roti, Oreo Mudpot shake and a Tuborg. The Oreo MudPot shake – a classic at social and a personal favorite was as always, extremely satiating and delectable.

DIY Prawn Chettinad – prawns minced and tossed in South Indian masalas served with ragda pattice – the two made for a very interesting bite.

The chicken baida roti – stuffed with chicken keema served with green apple chutney too was very flavorsome. The crispy, flake roti stuffed with chicken keema made for a palatable appetizer.

Beer and Cheese lamb burger – the burgers at social are quite raved about – so, on my visit to its fourth outlet, finally got my hands on the big, juicy burgers and thick cut fries. The lamb patty was juicy along with lettuce, tomatoes and onions and the omnipresent pickles. The cheddar should have been a bit more as the burger seemed to lack dressing. The fried were thick and juicy and completely delish.

Black label butter chicken with naan – huge chicken pieces marinated in black label and made in to a smooth, slightly sweet butter chicken gravy. Served with crispy naan, this combo meal was satiating and palatable to boot.

Couldn’t try the chocolate chutzpah but there is always a next time. The meal combos with all the desi favorites are a must have here.

PS – I felt Social had gone overboard with their concept with this outlet – the ambiance as a whole is quite over powering even though the individual elements are gorgeous. The washrooms for one felt quite like a communal loo, the smell, might have been unintentional.

PPS – I sincerely do wish they add on to their shakes menu.
