Foodtrucking with Something Saucy

I have always been fascinated by Food Trucks and exploring the hub of food trucks, Sector 29 was long due. The parking lot comes to life in the evening with numerous food trucks, passers-by grabbing a bite and families who make an outing out of it with camel rides and the classic bagghi. I started my expedition with Something Saucy – a unique food truck with their USP being their delectable sauces.

We started with some classic chicken dimsums served with flavored mayonnaise and chilly sauce. The dimsums were generously stuffed with fresh chicken and went well with the dips.

Chipotle mutton calzone was another exemplary dish came with crispy fries drizzled with mayonnaise and oregano. The chipotle flavor adds to a Mexican kick to this fusion calzone.

The crispy flaky calzone with mutton, bell pepper and onions was a very palatable affair.

Kadhai chicken pocket parantha was served with Nachos and mint mayonnaise. Extra saucy and somewhat hard to handle, never the less, a truly delectable affair.

The hashbrown tacos completely define something saucy with an amazing array of sauces lined over the hard shell tacos topped olives. The sauces made for a very interesting tricolor on top of the tacos. The insides stuffed with classic American hashbrowns, could have been a little more seasoned.

We rounded up with a sinful doughnut sandwich – a coffee mocha doughnut sliced and stuffed with a scoop of ice cream and nutella and oreos. What more could you ask for. A very exquisite preparation indeed.
