For God’s Cake is an adorable bakery cum cafe located in Hudson Lane with the cutest interiors serving amazing bakes, desserts and University favorites. They sent me over their cake-in-a-jar in two flavors – blueberry cheesecake and red velvet cake in a cute pale pink box with baking doodles.
Blue berry cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts so I obviously started with that. Topped with blueberry preserves and whipped cream and as you dig deeper, a soft, buttery crumble crust and the cheesy layer. The cake was perfectly balanced except for they could have had a little more blueberries in the otherwise perfectly done cake. Although I favor Blue berry cheesecake more, this red velvet cake completely took me by surprise. The crumbled red velvet cake with cream layers was simply divine. Slightly sweet and perfectly done cream cheese, the red velvet cake jar was one of the best whips I have had and I can’t get enough of it.
